Providence and Savannah will be celebrating an historic event for Little Elm and Denton County with the opening of the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge on Saturday, August 1, 2009 with a 5k run and a family fun walk. This is a unique opportunity because the bridge will not be open to pedestrian traffic at any other time. Over 2,500 runners and about 10,000 walkers and spectators are expected at the event. The planning event chair is Cynthia Northrop White, and Providence and Savannah are proud sponsors of the event.

Runners, walkers, and volunteers can register on-line at www.runlltb.com.
