| Soon one will be able to travel from I-35E across Lake Lewisville to the Dallas North Tollway. This future roadway and toll bridge will be a wonderful convenience and time-saver to motorists. The NTTA is working with Denton Country to construct the toll bridge across the northwestern arm of Lewisville Lake. The new bridge will be part of the four-lane Lewisville Lake Corridor connecting Swisher Road in Lake Dallas (I-35) to Eldorado Parkway in Little Elm (FM 2934), and on to the northern leg extension of the North Dallas Tollway. The conceptual design of the Corridor entails eight sections that together total 13 miles. Only the 1.7-mile bridge over the lake will be tolled. The project is expected to be completed in December, 2008. |
